Sleepstation is the UK’s highest ranked dCBTi programme according to ORCHA

Sleepstation is officially the UK’s highest ranked digital CBTi programme for insomnia according to ORCHA (Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Applications).

ORCHA is renowned for its rigorous evaluation of digital health apps, assessing them on vital criteria such as professional assurance, data security, user experience and accessibility.

ORCHA’s mission? To ensure only health apps that meet the highest safety standards and deliver reliable, impactful solutions are made available for users. They note that there are currently over 350,000 digital health and care products on the market, but only 20% meet safety standards.

In the UK, ORCHA provides services to NHS England, Health Education England, NICE and NHS providers in 70% of regions helping to guide decisions on which digital health apps to commission for patients.

Sleepstation’s digital CBTi programme is currently available in 39 ICS regions of England. Our commitment to quality and evidence standards ensures that patients have access to trusted, clinically assured digital health solutions.

Sleepstation stands out in its category in ORCHA’s rankings, achieving the highest overall score and also scoring 95/100 for Professional Assurance, positioning it higher than any other digital sleep solution assessed by ORCHA on both ratings.

ORCHA’s professional assurance score is primarily made up of their adaption of the NICE Evidence Standards Framework – but notably goes beyond this, also ensuring that there is a suitably qualified professional or organisation behind the app, as well as assessing the evidence around user testing and effectiveness of the app.

By setting the benchmark for safety, efficacy, and adoption, we remain dedicated to transforming healthcare delivery and improving outcomes for people across the country.
